For the past three decades I have worked as a marketing professional. I’ve enjoyed working with Fortune 500 clients such as Kellogg Cereals, Glad, Prestone, State Farm, McDonald’s, and Procter & Gamble. I’ve also been able to assist local companies and franchises including Indianapolis Southside Harley-Davidson, Indiana Car & Truck (Burd AutoMall), Angie’s List, Learning Rx, and CertaPro Painters. And I’ve been fortunate to partner with non-profits like Indiana Foster Care and Adoption, The Miracle Ride for Riley Hospital, and the Indiana 4-H Foundation. I’m probably one of the few people in Indiana who can say they’ve bought media for both Democratic and Republican candidates.
I draw upon this rich tapestry of experience in order to help you grow your business.
I started in 1976 as an ad copywriter for a small agency in Indianapolis. Later, after receiving an M.S. in Telecommunications from Indiana University, I landed at Leo Burnett USA in Chicago, where I worked for nearly five years as a media supervisor.
Returning to Indianapolis in 1988, I served as media director and account supervisor on behalf of McDonald’s Restaurant Co-ops in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, South Bend and Terre Haute.
Following that, I became a marketing consultant, a retail store owner, a professor of marketing at Franklin University in Columbus, OH and a founder of the pioneering online news magazine The Indianapolis Eye.
For about two years, until spring 2008, I worked as an account executive for Marketing Informatics, managing direct marketing programs for a variety of clients.
Now, I’m one of the principals of Keywerx, an Indianapolis online marketing company. We deliver customers.
